Gianluca Pompilio is an Italian composer and sound artist.
His work spans a wide range of fields, including electroacoustic composition, live electronics, experimental electronics, and sound installations.
His electroacoustic works have been selected for and performed at prestigious festivals, including Ars Electronica, Ma/In, Leam, Somarumor, Radiophrenia and Tempo Reale, and have been presented in Austria, Poland, Italy, Brazil, Scotland, Japan and Mexico.
In 2025, he won 2nd prize from the Polish Society for Electroacoustic Music (PSeME)
Gianluca holds a BA and MA degree in Electronic Music from the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory of Naples and a Diploma in Electronic Music Production from NUT Academy. He is a member of the Napoli Totale collective, a live electronics ensemble, and of the OEOAS orchestra.
